Victorian style 'Bun' hard wood door knobs
These Ebonised Victorian style ‘Bun' style door knob s come with solid brass rose plates.
An example of a door knob set which has been faithfully turned out by hand & reproduced using an original door knob design we were fortunate to salvage & is therefore a design unique to ourselves.
This style was a very popular in both the late VICTORIAN (c1837 - 1901) and early EDWARDIAN (c1901 - 1910) periods.
Each set consist of 2 ebonised turned knobs with brass collars, 2 separate brass rose plates with simple reeding, 1 universal 4 ½” spindle & fixing screws which have been antiqued to match.
The door knob is 58mm in diameter; the rose is 58mm in diameter with a projection of 78mm.
The brass work has a wonderful used look and will continue to age over time.
PLEASE NOTE ALL GRUBS SCREWS USED ARE NOW STEEL not BRASS FOR ADDED DURABILITY.
