Georgian style 'Reeded' brass door knobs.
These beautitiful solid brass door knobs have been inspired by classic period designs.
Elegantly styled using a reclaimed door knob salvaged by us, these door knobs and matching rose plates made from solid brass, have been hand finished and aged.
This design made extremely popular from Georgian (C1714 - 1837) through tothe Victorian (C1837 - 1901) periods and influencing ongoing periods through to Arts & Crafts an Art Deco movements, continue to be popular in today’s contemporary homes as well as period renovations.
These door knobs show an understated, but classic elegance.
The simplicity in design making these door knobs extremely sort after.
Each door knobs set consist of 2 solid brass reeded knobs, 2 separate brass rose plates with elegant reeding, 1 spindle & antiqued fixing screws.
The door knob diameter is 49mm; the rose plate diameter is 51mm and the overall projection is 70mm.
All our door knobs can be used on either mortise or rim locks as each rose plate is separate.
Each door knob set has been hand finished to ensure that authentic period used look.
PLEASE NOTE ALL GRUBS SCREWS USED ARE NOW STEEL not BRASS FOR ADDED DURABILITY.
